about

This song is about dealing with misery and wanting to die, about being in the depths of your pain and difficulty and through it, awakening to things other than yourself, and finding purpose in things that are bigger and more important than your own existential misery.
By surrendering to your own suffering and learning how to let it go, we can find what is actually important to us and actually begin to take action to influence the world with love to motivate us.

lyrics

Come to me, i see you’re weary with sorrow,
Close your eyes, forget the days of tomorrow,
There is no pain beyond the light that you follow,
Shed this weight and fall into a sleep,
So deep,
So deep,
Release the pain,
Endured for far too long.

I leave this lie, as i stray out of thought and time,
Wide opened, dismantled, i join the river of life,
And i embraced it, carried away by the tide, back to origin, a distant yet familiar sight,
No longer do i have the abilty to walk with eyes closed,
This love is killing me,
This love is killing me.

I faced it, embraced it, the source has now come to take me under the wing of light,
And through it i emerged, out from the ashes regenerated,
Bearing the pain of this world, un filtered recognition unbiased clear perception carried me through this black fog,
Consumed in such a rage, this is the canvas of the wicked,
Fashioning realities that we must not come to terms with.
